About RWA

  1. What is RWA tokenization on BenFen? On BenFen, Real-World Asset (RWA) tokenization refers to the process of converting ownership of physical or financial assets—such as gold, real estate, or bonds—into secure digital tokens on the blockchain. This creates a transparent, highly liquid, and programmable bridge between traditional value and the decentralized digital economy.
  2. What is the fundamental difference between RWA tokenization and holding traditional assets? BenFen’s RWA tokenization fundamentally transforms the ownership model by enabling direct, fractional, and global ownership of assets. Unlike traditional systems that rely on paper documentation and intermediaries, tokenized assets can be transferred instantly and used directly within our ecosystem (for example, to pay transaction fees or serve as collateral), while always maintaining a clear link to their real-world value.
  3. How does BenFen ensure the security and legitimate backing of RWA tokens? Every RWA token on BenFen is built on a compliance-first framework that combines a clear legal structure, regulated third-party custody, and independent auditing. We use secure, asset-oriented Move-based smart contracts to ensure token integrity, while physical assets are held by partner custodians and verified through periodic independent audits. The 1:1 relationship between the on-chain token supply and the custodial assets serves as reserve backing.
  4. How are RWA tokens different from cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin or stablecoins? Cryptocurrencies derive their value from network utility and market consensus, while stablecoins are typically pegged to fiat currencies. In contrast, RWA tokens derive their value directly from income-generating real-world assets. They combine the efficiency and programmability of digital tokens with the intrinsic value and stability of tangible assets, such as gold or real estate.
  5. Why can’t I see the record after purchasing RWA tokens? Deposit records on all blockchains require at least one block confirmation before they can be indexed and displayed. The Bitcoin network is generally slower than most EVM-based chains, so confirmations may take longer. Please wait patiently. If the funds still do not appear after confirmation, you may contact our official customer support team for assistance.
